Self-driving is uncommon in Madagascar and best for adventurous, experienced drivers who like to organise everything themselves. Some routes are only possible with our driver, regardless of your experience.

Fuel is not included: you get the car full and return it full. Self-drive needs an international driving licence. Driving in the dark is not allowed.

The Toyota 4×4 was in great mechanical shape. The price wasn't cheap at all, but we all agreed that the price was worth it! Also, Hary and Maily were very kind and met us at the pickup and drop-off points, and we really appreciated that. Everything went smoothly; we drove to Analamazaotra Reserve and back. I really recommend the service.
Pleasant car rental, recommended. The rental car took us 1,600 kilometres through Madagascar without a breakdown, and if we had broken down, we could reach them at any moment for help at a distance. We drove ourselves, without a driver, so the backup was nice. It was also nice that they thought along with us about our route in detail, took all the time to explain the car, and we even got a tip for a contact person in Isalo National Park. So much more than just a car rental!
A fantastic car rental company in Madagascar. There was a contact person available 24/7 in case of a breakdown, we got a lot of information at the start and could get help at any time with arranging a guide, etc.! They arranged a nice driver for the stretch from Morondava to the Tsingy and then to Tulear. From there we drove ourselves again. The car drove very well and had no defects.
